Hello happy Monday! Music has always been there weather I was happy and wanted to blast Reflections by Misterwives or if I was sad and wanted to listen to City Lights by Motionless In White all night. What’s in my bag? (2021)

Welcome to another new blog!

This weeks blog I’m gonna be doing a what’s in my bag! Being a mother of two I feel the need to carry absolutely everything with me, that can be a good and bad thing lol. I still have to carry my own bag plus the kids diaper bag but I’d honestly rather be safe than sorry! But let’s have a look into my bag the two book bags I’ll be looking thru I’ll put a link to them down below. Okay let’s get into my bag!

What’s in my bag?

Well start on the outside pockets of my bag, the two side pockets I usually keep empty unless I’m carrying a bottle or water for me and Jax. I also have a front bottom pocket where I keep a few packs of gum! Their is also a little pocket on the top of the bag and that’s where I keep pen, my phone, and my mask. If you look at the back of the bag their is a tiny pocket where people usually will keep like their wallet but I actually keep antibacterial wipes. I do have a little key chain on the front of my bag that has hand sanitizer, a little pouch where I’ll either keep an extra bib or extra mask.

Let’s dive into the actual bag, first thing you will see is my little handbag. ( yes a bag in a bag) but I like to pull this one out if I’m just running into the store and all I keep in this one is my wallet, an extra diaper, an extra mask and yes more gum! Haha. The next bag you’ll come across is my emergency bag I keep tissues, ibuprofen, an extra mirror, hand sanitizer, some extra hair ties and lipstick. The next bag you’ll pull out is a small itzy ritzy bag (which I’ll link below) that I keep some extra clothes for my baby girl. My next bag I pulled out is my makeup bag and the reason I carry this around is I usually have to do my makeup on the go! If you want to see what’s in my makeup bag leave it in the comments below! We’ve finally made it To the last bag in my never ending bag. It’s a little black bag that I keep extra wipes and diapers for both of the kids.

What’s in my diaper bag?

I’ll keep this one short and simple in the diaper bags I keep snacks, diapers, extra clothes for both kids, and extra wipes and bibs.

New Month New start

New Month, New Me.
Well we’ve made it to another month of this new normal. I’ve gotta admit I was in the worst rut this past month, but it’s a new month and I’ve got a new mind set and I’m ready to go! This weeks blog post I want to give you another list lol! But this time I want to give you a list of ten things I can’t live without.
1. Well obviously it’s my phone, in this day and age you just can’t get around that. I’ve got to stay in touch with family and stuff.
2. My Eddie he’s my rock, he’s my other half and some days I don’t know what I would do without him.
3. My Jax moon! Well some days I’d love a break but I couldn’t live without him!
4. My planner, I love making list and making plans in it.
5. My journal. I love writing in it and it’s nice to look back on entry’s.
6. Water. I never believed when people always told me the benefits of drinking so much water but now I can’t be without it.
7. My quiet time, it’s definitely been cut in half since having Jax. But I do enjoy it during nap time and bed time.
8. Zane and Heaths unfiltered podcast. I’ve re listened to it way too much but it’s so good!
9. My Natalie! She’s my niece and we Snapchat everyday and I love the friendship we have in each other.
10. Disney Jr. especially T.O.T.S Jax is obsessed with that show, and it helps me get some stuff done.

15 Random Facts About Me.

Hello, so it’s been a while since I posted a new blog. It’s been a struggle around here being locked in all the time, I’ve been going crazy. But I’m also blessed I’m able to stay how with Jax and not have to take him out in all of this. But I was brainstorming for this week’s blog and thought I’d give you 15 things you might not know about me:

1. I’m obsessed with planning and planners. My favorite is Happy Planner

2. My first ever concert was Blue October. we were front row and I had a horrible panic attack, and my friends mom had to walk to the back of the concert with me. (sorry Lindsay!)    6. I’m a sucker for a good paranormal story, and I want to be BFFS with Bigfoot.
   7. I’m in a terrible reading slump. So if you have any recommendations send them my way!
6. I was able to see the birth of my sweet cat Gracie, and later on when she had kittens I was able to keep her son and I named him Levi.
   9. Pride and Prejudice is my favorite movie of all time!
   10. Speaking of favorite, Outlander is holding its spot at my favorite T.V. Show.
   11. I’ve never stepped foot in the ocean, but I’ve been to the beach. Just not my cup of tea. Haha.
   12. I’m obsessed with striped and florals.
   13. It’s don’t be hard to believe, but Twilight isn’t my favorite vampire book series. It’s actually the Morganville vampire series.
   14. I’m lactose intolerant. But it doesn’t stop me from eating Ice Cream or Having cereal. Lol.
   15. It took me so long to make this list! Haha.

Thrift Haul (Before The World Closed Down)

Well Hello, welcome to another new blog! On this week’s blog, I’m gonna show you some recent thrift finds, right before it got too bad to go out in public. I went to a local thrift store that just recently opened up in town. I’ve only been there a couple of times but I’ve found a lot of great finds there.

So I’ll get into the haul this shirt I’ve already worn, and I’m obsessed with it! There are so many different ways to wear it and this is how I styled it.
The next shirt I’ve also been wearing a lot is this black and white striped shirt, it got a very loose fit and it so comfortable to wear around the house.

This shirt has been another one I’ve been drawn too, its a few sizes too big so its very nice and flowy. (you’ll find some of my favorite patterns are stripes and florals) haha.

This Green long shirt I haven’t been able to wear yet, but from the looks of it, someone cut it to looked cropped.

We’re back to the florals again lol. I couldn’t leave the store without it! I haven’t had the chance to wear it, but it will definitely be a staple for spring/summer.
This simple purple striped shirt I honestly keep forgetting its in my closet so I need to pull it out and wear it!

I’m obsessed with this one as well, I haven’t had the chance to wear it yet, but maybe I should do a photoshoot for it soon!

We’ve made it back to floral again, but this simple white shirt I know I’ll get more wear out of it in the winter.

This Dress let me tell you about this dress when I first saw it I almost died! haha, I knew I wasn’t leaving the store without it. the idea was to get the dress for Easter but I’m still gonna have a fun photoshoot with it!

Day In The Life Of A Stay At Home Mom (Updated)

Happy Friday the 13th! *Que spooky music* We’ve made it to another week! Are we all washing our hands out there? This week I thought I’d give you an updated day in the life, the last one I had was when Jax was just a few months old and well things have changed since then! This is a normal every day in the life, some days we do go out but this is a normal schedule for us:)

7a-8a We both wake up at this time, mostly because he will hit me in the face and suddenly I’m awake lol, then I’ll warm up a bottle of milk for him and he’ll have that.

8:30a Is when we both have breakfast, some days we have cereal or pop tarts, he loves eggs and blueberries. So we will switch between these choices.

9:00a- 11:30a Is playtime in the living room, daddy’s up getting ready for work at this time. I do a little bit of cleaning at this time rather it be making the bed, scooping the litter pan, or starting a load of clothes.

11:30a-2:30p This is Jaxs nap time. So I’m able to get done what I need to get done, like working on my blog, taking pictures for my blog. I will eat lunch around this time if I’m hungry, otherwise, I’ll wait for Jax. Between this time frame, Eddie will also come home for his lunch break.

2:00p-5:00p Jax will wake up from his nap, I’ll feed him lunch. Its different day by day, he really loves mac and cheese (but what child doesn’t lol) He also likes cheese, ham, and crackers. But I’d love to hear what you give your toddler for lunches please feel free to leave them in the comments. This is also the time in which his Gigi comes home from break, We do have the privilege of being able to share this house with her, and trust me when I say its such a blessing. That little bit of a break I get in the afternoon from her is such a relief. If the weather is nice out we will also go outside and play, boy oh boy does that little man love being outside (honestly so do I).

5:00p-7:00p Might be the longest couple of hours of my life. I’m not really sure why they drag on, I suppose it could be because I’m waiting for Eddie to get off of work. but in this time frame, I like to get any dishes done, fold any laundry that was done. I like to tidy up the house about 30 minutes before Eddie gets home, I like for it to look nice for when he gets home. I and Jax also like to watch some tv or listen to music.

7:00p-9:00p This is when Eddie gets home, Jax gets so excited to see him! We all have dinner not long after he gets home. Then around 8:00p is when I start getting Jax ready for bed, so bathtime, PJs, and bottle. He does still sleep with us (I know Gasp!) but there are a few factors as to why most of them are because of me, laziness anxiety, you know all of that fun stuff. But for now, he’s with us so myself or Eddie will lay him down. He gets to watch one show before bed to kind of chill him out. He falls asleep around 8:30/9:00.

9:00p-11:00p Is when I’ll get ready for bed, shower stuff like that. I watch a bit of tv before I go to bed either with myself or Eddie. I usually go to bed around 10:30/11:00. If Eddie has had a long day he will do the same.
So that’s my day in the life, I know so exciting right? lol. I’m so blessed to be able to be a stay at home mom, but it does come with loneliness and feeling like all I am is a Mom. But as Jax gets older I know those feelings will all change. So, for now, I’m enjoying watching him grow into a sweet, crazy, loving little man! Interview With My Brothers

We’ve made it to another week! I’ll say again it’s hard to believe its almost March. I’m sitting here listing to music from 2009 and I’m feeling slightly old haha! But enough about me this week I bring you, my brothers. Well, to be more specific I bring an interview I had with them it was their birthday this Wednesday, and I know what your thinking, yes they do share the same birthday. no, their not twins their actually two years apart, don’t ask me how but my mom and dad are pretty good at timing that out if you ask me! My brothers have grown into such awesome Men! So I thought I’d let you get to know more about my super cool brother! (And no they didn’t pay me to say that I just absolutely love them!)

-Age? 26 years old

-If you had to work but don’t need the money, what would you choose to do?

• Hmm, that’s a tough question, I would say something to do with YouTube, I enjoy learning and passing along information, so if I could do that even without money as a factor, I think that would be fun.

-If you could dis-invent One thing, what would it be?

•  I can’t think of anything because I feel mostly every invention serves some kind of purpose, but if I had to choose, I would say Uggs or Crocs

-Is there an app you hate but use anyway?

• I can’t really think of an app that I hate.. except the weather app when it tells me that it’s any temperature below 75°

-Can you describe your life in a six-word sentence?

•  Hectic, but slowly controlling the chaos.

-What animal would be the most terrifying if it could speak?

•  Honestly, I think it would be terrifying if any animal could talk, but more specifically, goats. They are the creepiest animals, they are too human-like so if they had the ability to talk that would be incredibly terrifying.

-What do you fear the most?

•  I can’t think of any fears that aren’t irrational, but I don’t want to reach the end of my life and have a list of regrets, that’s what I fear.

-What are your goals for the next couple of years?

•  My goals for the next couple of years is to find peace while continuing to grow, I want to make more money, I would like to start a YouTube channel and make more of an impact in that world, and be able to put more time into things I’m passionate about/discover new passions.

-What do you bring with you everywhere you go?

•  I bring my phone and my AirPods with me everywhere.

-How often do you listen to music?

• I enjoy listening to music, but I almost get tired of it if I listen to it for too long, so I listen to podcasts more than I listen to music.

-As a kid what did you want to be when you grow up?

• I wanted to be many different things, but from what I can remember, the most notable ones were; a businessman/entrepreneur, a famous magician, or a scientist.

• If I didn’t need the money I’d say something like working somewhere in the Pacific Northwest working as a park ranger in the mountains.

• Anywhere really, waiting gives me more time to daydream longer ha!

• Facebook for sure. But I enjoy it because of Facebook Marketplace.

-Is it more important to love or be loved?

• To love for sure. And not to expect it in return, even if you don’t ever receive it enough doesn’t mean you should stop spreading it.

-What animal would be the most terrifying if it could speak?

• I really like this one, most definitely a shark because can you imagine being in its territory and it speaking to you underwater and not like Bruce from Finding Nemo lol!

-What do you fear the most?

• This one is tricky, this brings back to being underwater and I know I’m a Pisces but I have a fear of open water…

-What are you’re goals for the next couple of years?

• My goal is to make it happen and better take care of my present family and friends. Also my future family. The rest well I write them down like personal accomplishments(:

-What is your favorite kind of weather?

• The type of weather where you want just want to lay down on the floor all alone and hear just the birds singing. Or the cat knowing you’re about to lay down on the floor sometimes with tears in your eyes or with a smile on your face.

-How often do you listen to music?

• I listen to music a lot and it keeps me going. I have to say I’m very respectful of it. I’ve been drowning out noises around me for so long, music has and is always been my go-to. I have my days where I just don’t wanna hear it, no pun intended lol. Which doesn’t happen too often so I work on keeping the balance.

-As a kid what did you want to be when you grew up?

• Ha well a part of me still wants to. A wrestler, like a WWE superstar!

Whats In My Bag + Whats In My Diaper Bag

Well, We’ve made it to another week! It is hard to believe its almost March! But as I was brainstorming ideas for this week, I thought it would be a good time to do an updated what’s in my bag. Date Night Ideas + Outfit Ideas

Well, we’ve made it to another week. Its a very rainy day outside, not my cup of tea but I do know of a few vampires who love it! I wanted to talk to you today and give you some ideas for a date night, or a day date (especially those with children). Since today is Valentine’s day I thought I’d show you some of my favorite date ideas. And a bonus I’ll show you some outfits to wear on a date.
One of our favorite date night things is (especially when Jax is with his Gigi) is to stay in, order food from doordash and watch youtube all night! Its an easy date night because we get to stay in our pj’s!
Another dating tip would be to go fishing, with spring coming up I hope to make more trips out to the water and go fishing with Eddie. And now that Jax is older he will be able to join too.
Life as a parent you don’t always get the alone time that you want so we like to make some dates, that would usually be mundane like grocery shopping and make it fun for us and Jax.
One fun thing I’m looking forward to the warmer months coming up is more trips to the park, Jax has so much fun there and it’s a nice time for all of us together.
A fun date idea is super simple and that’s to sit down and plan the funniest trip you could think of. one that we keep talking about is making a family trip out to Disney World!
A date that I’m waiting to try out since Jax is getting older is taking him to the Zoo/Aquarium (I’ve always wanted to visit the one in Atlanta)
A fun family weekend date we did last year was go glamping ( yes I said glamping lol) we went to a campsite that had just about everything from pools, fishing spots, and even a playground.
A fun date night for me… maybe not so much Eddie. It is to have a photoshoot. besides myself, he’s the only other one I trust to take my pictures for my blog and Instagram.
A date we’ve had a few times in the past is to go out of town for the weekend and stay in a hotel, its fun to get away if only for the weekend.
A fun date night is to gather all the chairs and blanks in the house and build a fort. It’s fun for Jax and fun for mommy and daddy when he goes to sleep!

A dressy date outfit I’ve been loving is this dress with my favorite blue Jean jacket and black sandals.

For day dates with the family, I love throwing on my favorite pink sweater and white striped pants.

For a date at home, I love throwing on my comfy pink sweater and shorts.

Dear future Haley,
I hope you’re reading this while Jax and his siblings are playing all around you. I wrote you this vision board for the next five years.

Next 5 years Vision Board

I want to see this blog grow, it’s a passion of mine to post this blog. And it’s also super fun to post them too!

I pray that I’ll be blessed with another child within the next couple of years.

I want to see myself growing more in my faith. And I also hope that maybe we can join a church family here in Jacksonville, I sure do miss mine back in Georgia.

I hope that Jax becomes an avid reader like his mom and dad.
I better be driving within the year, but I better be driving in the next five years!! haha
I’d love to be finally married to my best friend.
I hope I get to see all of my siblings thriving in their lives.
It seems like a lot, but then again it doesn’t. If nothing else I just want to see so much love and faith in these next few years.

Outfits Of The Week

Hello Happy Saturday!

Well it’s been another hot minute since I made a blog post! Things have been so crazy around here, raising a toddler and a infant. But I’m slowly getting into a routine with both of them so I wanted to get started back on my blogs! So this week I’m gonna share with you my Outfits of the week. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed putting them together! All outfit details will be down at the bottom.

Monday’s outfit is one of my favorites to wear running around doing errands.

Tuesday’s outfit this one I like to wear if we’re going out as a family to eat lunch.

Wednesday’s outfit is one I hope to wear soon for date night.

Thursday’s outfit is one I like to wear on evening trips to the park.

Friday’s outfit is probably one of my new favorite ones, it reminds me of how I use to dress up all the time.

Hello 2021!!

Hello 2021!!! It’s been a hot minute since I have posted a blog! So much has changed since I last wrote to you guys! I’ll start off with my biggest change of last year, I gave birth to my sweet baby girl Ellie!! She was born on December 15. She has been such a sweet blessing!💕 life has definitely changed since becoming a family of four haha, I’ll be posting an updated DITL next week! I’m excited to leave 2020 behind me, and welcome a new year and new opportunities. I’m excited to get back into the swing of my blog and showing all of the new content I’ve been working on! The sound of falling in love.

New Normal

Dear Reader,
Happy Friday to you! I feel like this post might be all over the place, but its essentially a brain dump. I wanted to tell you how all this craziness in the world is affecting me. and hopefully, I can help someone out there through all of this. I have anxiety, I’ve had it for as long as I can remember. and its something I’ve been able to deal with, like everything it’s hard sometimes but I’ve survived. I’ve also had to deal with postpartum depression, which was the worst thing mentally ive ever been thru. so with this new virus coming out, you’d think id be a nervous wreck.. well I have been, but not about the virus. I’ve been a nervous wreck because of people and their panic and selfishness. It’s really scary to see how people react to something like this. but the only thing I can do is keep my head up and stay as calm as possible. Being a stay at home mom hasn’t affected me with the quarantine. life around here is going on as usual, but the reason for this post is to let you know if you’re feeling overwhelmed or anxious just know that you’re not alone in this. And if you need anyone to talk to or just to listen I’m all ears. Because as High School Musical put it where all in this together!!
